Job Sales Representative in Kamloops

The Cam Clark Auto Group is seeking a motivated and results-oriented Automotive Sales Consultant for our Kamloops Ford Lincoln dealership.

In the position of Automotive Sales Consultant reporting to the General Sales Manager, you will be responsible for understanding the features and benefits of all motor vehicles that are available for purchase and be able to communicate this information effectively to customers and potential customers.

You will be accountable for:

  • Understanding the features and benefits of all vehicles that are available for purchase while being able to effectively communicate this information to our customers.
  • Converting showroom visitors into customers by understanding their needs and interests and matching them to the most appropriate car.
  • Taking customers on test drives and demonstrating vehicle features.
  • Building a rapport with potential customers to improve the possibility of a sale in the future.
  • Collaborating with team members to reach sales targets.
  • Assisting customers with completing the relevant paperwork required for a successful sale to be processed.
  • Maintaining accurate records, including sales reports, expense reimbursement forms, billing invoices, and other documentation.
  • Building and maintaining ongoing awareness of new products and services, competitor activities, and research.
  • Using customer relation management (CRM) software tools to maximize sales efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Building and fostering a network of referrals to create new opportunities for revenue growth.
  • Generating and developing new customer accounts.
  • Maintaining professionalism, tact, diplomacy, and sensitivity to portray the company in a positive manner.

To be successful in this role, you must have:

  • Your High School Diploma, G.E.D. or equivalent.
  • A Valid Driver’s license with a clean Driver’s Abstract.
  • A valid VSA license or are able to obtain your VSA license.
  • The ability to work both in a team environment and on your own.
