POSITION SUMMARY

The Sales Facilitator provides clerical assistance to aid with the sales activity initiated by the Sales Lead, Mark Petz. The incumbent is responsible for creating and implementing technological workflows to improve the efficiency of vehicle sales. The role will directly impact ensuring positive results in deadlines, details, documentation, and quality standards.

This position requires an incumbent who possesses the following skills and attributes:

POSITION DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Develop and maintain workflow processes to improve efficiency.
  • Analyze data to find opportunities.
  • Arrange drivers for deliveries.
  • Confirm insurance on vehicles prior to sale.
  • Create power of attorney letters and rebate forms.
  • Process and confirm the funding of deals.
  • Get CNLA/OEL/OF letters.
  • Manage all buy-out requests.
  • Arrange cheques for buy-ins.
  • Process licensing with Service Ontario.
  • Manage sublets.
  • Prepare paperwork for contracts, DocuSign packages, Purchase Orders, etc.
  • Prepare vehicles for showing.
  • Process credit applications.
  • Activate OnStar accounts for all sold vehicles.
  • Other duties as assigned.

SUPERVISION RECEIVED

This position is supervised based on a management-by-objective philosophy and may sometimes receive little to no direct supervision. Working independently but cooperatively with Mark Petz and within the organization. The incumbent is expected to adhere to the goals and objectives of the dealership and act in accordance with the guidelines set by the dealer principle. The incumbent will receive feedback based on set guidelines, objectives, metrics, customer satisfaction, and feedback.

SCOPE FOR INDEPENDENT ACTION

This position has a limited degree of independent action and will be directed by the actions of Mark Petz and the Sales Department.

MACHINES AND EQUIPMENT

This position is required to be able to safely operate the car wash, as needed, and all standard office equipment as well as being able to and licensed for the operation of a motor vehicle on public roadways.

SAFETY: The position will be required to follow all safety policies of the organization.

EDUCATION: Minimum 3-year college program, or equivalent level of education, with additional courses in Office Administration and various software packages.

EXPERIENCE: A minimum of 1 year of relevant experience may be preferred.

LICENSES: A valid Ontario G driver’s license as well as a valid OMVIC license is required for this position.

TRAVEL REQUIREMENTS: There is little to no travel required for this position, less than 1% of the time. Most travel will be within the Hamilton Region.
