We are seeking a Senior Business Intelligence Developer to join our Finance Data & Analytics Team on a 15 month contract. In this role, you will report to the Product Manager Data & Analytics and will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining Power BI reports, dashboards, and analytics solutions. You will also work closely with stakeholders to gather business requirements, analyze data, and develop solutions using Alteryx and Azure Synapse.

Key Responsibilities:
Develop Power BI reports and dashboards that are visually appealing, intuitive, and provide actionable insights to stakeholders
Gather and analyze business requirements from stakeholders and translate them into technical specifications for data models, reports, and dashboards
Develop and maintain ETL workflows using Alteryx and Azure Synapse to ensure data quality and accuracy
Create and maintain data models and relationships in Power BI to ensure data consistency across reports and dashboards
Collaborate with other developers, analysts, and stakeholders to ensure successful project delivery and adoption of Power BI solutions
Provide training and support to end-users to ensure successful adoption of Power BI solutions
Stay up-to-date with the latest Power BI features and best practices and continuously improve the quality and performance of Power BI solutions

Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field
5+ years of experience developing Power BI reports, dashboards, and analytics solutions
Strong experience with Alteryx and Azure Synapse to perform data transformation, data integration, and data preparation
Experience with DAX and M formula languages in Power BI to create complex calculations and data models
Experience with Power Query to connect to various data sources, transform data, and load data into Power BI
Strong SQL skills to write complex queries, optimize data retrieval, and troubleshoot data issues
Experience with data visualization best practices and design principles
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Strong communication and collaboration skills
