We are looking for an experienced Senior Business Analyst to join our Talent Program Delivery Team. As a member of our team, you will report to the Senior Manager, Talent Solutions, and be based out of Rogers Corporate head office.


As a Senior Business Analyst, you will have the opportunity to:

  • Act as a functional expert for HR initiatives that affect multiple systems and programs.
  • Design and deliver solutions that support business initiatives, including correspondence, presentations, change requests, process workflows, test cases, reports, and end-user guides.
  • Consult with program owners, end-users, and third-party vendors to manage relationships and identify and resolve system process-related inquiries.
  • Work with internal business partners and external vendors to gather, document, and refine business requirements, and provide process improvement recommendations.
  • Lead in user acceptance testing of new technical developments as needed.
  • Evaluate existing internal processes to identify anomalies and recommend enhancement opportunities.
  • Perform root cause analyses of issues and recommend preventative solutions.
  • Develop, coach, and act as a change agent for the user community with regards to new processes, applications, and functionality.
  • Fulfill ad-hoc requests for business functions, as needed.
  • Assist leadership with building effective practices to meet business and employee needs.


To be considered for this role, you must meet the following qualifications:

  • Post-secondary education, with a minimum of 5 years of experience as a Business Analyst, preferably in Human Resources.
  • Demonstrated technical competence with one or more of the following HR systems: SuccessFactors, Oracle HCM, Kronos, and ServiceNow.
  • Demonstrated proficiency with Microsoft Suite of products.
  • Demonstrated knowledge of commonly used concepts, methodologies, and procedures within a project and/or service management environment.
  • Ability to perform data analysis and conduct root cause investigations.
  • Ability to compile complex information from multiple sources and present it in an easy-to-understand format.
  • Ability to produce reports in MS Excel using advanced techniques such as functions, vlookups, concatenation, pivot tables, and macros.
  • Ability to establish and achieve goals with minimal supervision.
  • Strong communication skills, with the ability to communicate effectively at all levels of the organization through meaningful and articulate verbal discussions and clear, coherent written materials.
  • Proven attention to accuracy and detail.
  • Self-motivated, customer-focused professional with solid organizational skills who can manage multiple priorities and meet tight deadlines in a shared services setting.
