Job Overview
Oxford Properties, a leading real estate investment company in Canada, is seeking a talented Senior Data Analyst to join their team. This individual will be responsible for maintaining databases, designing and building low code business applications, analyzing and collecting data, and designing reports that provide insights into operations. Additionally, the candidate will work closely with other analysts to operationalize new requirements, support various departments in reaching their goals through analysis, and monitor data to identify changes in financial and business trends. Responsibilities
Data Management
Maintain financial databases, perform updates as necessary to ensure accuracy
Regularly examine data reports to locate and resolve mistakes throughout
Analyze and collect data for various types of reports
Maintain reporting databases and create reporting requirements
Monitor data to identify changes in financial and business trends
Assist with data engineering (ETL processes) when required
Application Development
Work with other analysts to operationalize new requirements
Design and build low code applications to optimize building operations
Reporting
Design and create reports that provide insights into operations
Communicate the results of data analysis in written and verbal form to managers
Departmental Support
Support various departments in reaching their goals through analysis

Qualifications

Technical Skills:
Solid understanding of SQL relational database concepts to design new tables and create requirements for new tables
Implementing new database schemas (designing schema, implementing tables)
Ability to use SQL, Power BI, PowerPoint to create data-driven reports for senior management
Experience with data visualization tools (e.g. Power BI, Tableau)
Ability to create and maintain low-code applications (e.g. Power Apps)

Soft Skills:
Strong written and verbal communication skills to effectively relate data to coworkers
Excellent critical thinking skills to help solve business problems and make decisions
Attention to detail is critical to this role
Demonstrated ability to manage time and prioritize projects to meet deadlines

Knowledge:
General knowledge of operations, objectives, strategies, process, and information flow
Machine Learning knowledge is an asset but not required

Education and Experience*:
One to three years of experience as a Data Analyst
Degree in Math, Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent

You will be mainly working remotely. However, you will need to come to our Toronto office when required.
