Job Description

Join our Global Technology Service Management Team!

This role is an integral part of the GTSM team to develop and maintain service models by working directly with the application domain experts and mapping out their infrastructure components. Then build relationships between the model and the business capabilities and services.


Designing of Signature (Pattern-Based) Service models with a unique signature to identify a product software component, including our custom-built applications.


Responsible for the discovery data in the global IT environment, including the managing of new subnets and v-centers as well as analysis of CI discovery issues.


Responsibilities:

  • Conduct detailed assessments of existing applications, systems, and infrastructure to identify and document application services.

    Work closely with IT teams and business partners to identify key applications and their dependencies.

  • Create and maintain an accurate and up-to-date inventory of application services, including their configurations, interfaces, and dependencies.

  • Experience identifying, investigating, and resolving Discovery issues with solid grasp of UNIX server, Windows server, and network gear.

  • In-depth knowledge of networking including TCP/IP ports and firewalls, network protocols, IP networks, subnetting, and network devices, and virtualization environments configurations, i.e. - Hyper-V, VMware.

  • In-depth knowledge of ServiceNow reconciliation process and identifying the frameworks that are related to ServiceNow mapping.

  • In-depth knowledge of ServiceNow discovery patterns and scripts, especially PowerShell and JavaScript.

  • Collaborate with IT teams to resolve issues related to application service mapping and discovery.

  • Communicate effectively with business partners and IT teams to ensure that application service mapping and discovery efforts align with the organization's strategic goals and objectives.


What we are looking for:

  • Existing ServiceNow System Administrator experience or equivalent role, understanding the way ServiceNow is designed and configured (relationships tables).

  • Experience with Application Service Mapping.
    Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

    Knowledge of relevant tools and technologies for application service mapping and discovery.

  • Superb communication and interpersonal skills.

    Ability to work cross-functionally with IT teams and business collaborators.

  • Experience with project management and process improvement methodologies.

  • Good attention to detail and accuracy.

    ITIL V4

  • ServiceNow Foundations/Discovery/Service Mapping courses.

Salary & Benefits

The annual base salary for this role is listed below.

Primary Location

Toronto, Ontario

Salary range is expected to be between

$82,500.00 CAD - $148,500.00 CAD
