Job Senior E-commerce Manager in Toronto

We are looking for an enthusiastic and keen individual to fill the role of Senior e-Commerce Manager.
Reporting to the VP, Sales, the Senior e-Commerce Manager is responsible for developing and owning the overall e-Commerce strategy across the Pure Player and Click-to-Mortar channels while being a strong contributor to the Lindt overall Digital Commerce team.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Own the development and execution of e-Commerce strategy in both Pure Player and Click-to- Mortar channels.
  • Directly manage the e-Commerce Key Account Manager responsible for the Pure Player channel, with Amazon as a top priority, and with ultimate ownership for all aspects of sales targets, spend, and profitability for direct e-Commerce customers.
  • Build a leading e-Commerce organization, create and lead a Center of Excellence for eCommerce.
  • Serve as a thought leader and catalyst for growth in the highly important and growing Click-to-Mortar channel of traditional retail customers.
1.Creation and execution of overall e-Commerce strategy
  • Define and deliver the accelerated growth and profit targets in the defined e-Commerce channels with full ownership of the Pure Player channel targets.
  • Develop and implement commercial playbooks for Pure Play and Click-to-Mortar eCommerce customers working with appropriate teams to ensure best-in-class execution.
  • Work internally with key stakeholders to ensure optimization of traditional conversion tactics such as paid search, increasing visibility across eCommerce customer platforms. This would include collaboration with Marketing Communications to analyze, recommend and execute investments in the eCommerce platforms.
  • Play a lead role in the development of the correct assortment strategy for not only each channel but also each customer within. This will include strong collaboration with stakeholders in the overall Digital Commerce team as well as with the Click-to-Mortar Key Account teams.
2.Building a Leading e-Commerce organization
  • By being the e-Commerce Champion build expertise and excitement about these Channels and their growth potential as well as importance.
  • Build the Digital and e-Commerce literacy skillset in the Wholesale organization, and the broader organization, through the establishment of an appropriate training calendar and learning agenda.
  • Work with key stakeholders such as Sales Strategy, Revenue Management, and Category Insights to embed e-Commerce in the current and future ways of working.
3.Direct ownership of Pure Player Sales and Profit Targets
  • Directly manage the e-Commerce Key Account Manager responsible for the Pure Player channel, with Amazon as a top priority, and with ultimate ownership for all aspects of sales targets, spend, and profitability for direct e-Commerce customers.
Qualifications:
  • Post-Secondary education in Business or Related Discipline.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in Consumer Packaged Goods industry in a comparable position.
  • Experience developing and implementing commercial playbooks for Pure Play and Click-to-Mortar customers.
  • Extensive experience in optimization of conversion tactics and increasing visibility across platforms.
  • Strong interpersonal skills, able to independently lead & motivate internal cross-functional teams.
  • Demonstrated experience meeting defining expectations and meeting objectives in a complex, changing environment.
  • Ability to synthesize data quickly and accurately, identifying relevant information to impact strategy and execution of strategy.
