Your opportunity at ARC’TERYX:
The Senior Manager, People Analytics will lead a team and drive forwards the people analytics roadmap at Arc’teryx, harnessing the power of people systems, technology, and data to derive insights in support of our people and business strategies.
You will be responsible for informing and implementing the people analytics strategy whilst leading and building a high-performing team of people data and analytics professionals to enable our people and unlock business value.
This role is primarily based out of our North Vancouver office and is open to hybrid remote work. Candidates must be eligible to work in Canada.

If you were the Senior Manager, People Analytics now, here are some of the core activities you would be doing:

    • Championing data and analytics within the People & Culture (P&C) team and being a strong advocate for developing a discipline of data-driven decision making across teams
    • Creating the long-term vision, strategy, and execution roadmap for people analytics
    • Leading the strategy for development and integration of the people system, technology, and data ecosystem
    • Providing strategic support to the P&C function in the areas of people metrics, reporting, and advanced predictive analytics capabilities
    • Designing and implementing dashboards and reporting that present data in a relevant, meaningful, and actionable framework for leadership
    • Leveraging deep expertise in people systems, technology, and analytics to advise and support leaders to identify, measure, and monitor improvements on key people initiatives
    • Designing and implementing reporting strategies and products to enable better data-driven decision making and investments
    • Advancing the understanding and use of advanced analytical techniques and data literacy across the P&C function
    • Driving forward product enhancement and enablement within our HRIS platform – Workday – and integration of other people systems and technology to enable better data integrity, reporting, and insights
    • Partnering with key leaders across Arc’teryx to develop and synthesize insights in support of our core business initiatives
    • Leading and building a high-performing team of people data and analytics experts to bring the people analytics roadmap to life

    • Building the people analytics strategy and tactical roadmap
    • Evolving and driving forwards the people dashboards for our core business verticals to enable better talent planning and decision making
    • Working with the Senior Director, Operations, Rewards and Analytics to design the people analytics operating model and lead roll out
    • Partnering with the P&C leadership team to evolve people data, reporting, and insight needs

Are you our next Senior Manager, People Analytics?

    • You have 7+ years of data and analytics experience, including 3+ years in a leadership capacity
    • You have a post-secondary degree or diploma in a related field, or equivalent experience
    • You have experience working with HRIS, preferably Workday
    • You have excellent analytical and demonstrated problem solving skills both technically and functionally. You are oriented and proficient in building and handling complicated data sets.
    • You have an eye for detail, high degree of accuracy and a strong level of personal accountability
    • You have a highly collaborative working style with a demonstrated ability to thrive in a high-growth, agile environment to drive results
    • You are a strong communicator, with the ability to translate complex data analytics and insights to provide recommendations, and influence with stakeholders across the business
    • You are open and approachable with a customer-service mentality, always striving to do what is best for Arc’teryx and our people
    • You embrace a growth mindset and are passionate about learning and growing in your role
    • You exercise good judgment and consistently operate as an ambassador of the company (leading by example)
