Summary

We are seeking a talented Senior Project Manager to join our team and help us deliver exceptional software solutions to our clients. As a Senior Project Manager at Messagepoint, you will be responsible for overseeing the entire project lifecycle, from inception to delivery. You will work closely with our clients to understand their business needs and translate them into clear project requirements. You will then lead a team of developers, designers, and QA analysts to deliver high-quality software solutions on time and within budget.

Responsibilities:

• Participate in pre-sales processes such as estimate reviews and development of Professional Services Statements of work.
• Work closely with clients to understand their business needs and translate them into clear project deliverables.
• In partnership with the Solutions Consultant, create detailed and integrated project plans and timelines, and manage project scope, budgets, and allocated resources.
• Communicate project status, issues, and risks to clients and internal Messagepoint stakeholders.
• Identify project risks and issues and develop with project stakeholders, risk mitigation and issue resolution plans.
• Ensure that all project management deliverables meet high quality standards.
• Ensure project forecasting, revenue recognition and invoicing are accurate and meet accounting deadlines.
• Collaborate with Messagepoint cross-functional teams (Sales, Business Solutions, Customer Success & Support, Account Management, Product Management, Research & Development) to ensure successful project delivery.
• Continuously improve project management processes and methodologies.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Business Administration, or related field.
• 7+ years of experience managing large, complex software projects spanning internal and end client stakeholders. A preference for experience within a customer communication management environment.
• Strong leadership competencies with proven track record of matrix team leadership delivering high-quality results and excellent customer satisfaction.
• Exceptional written and oral communication skills, including the ability to communicate complex risks, issues and concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Proven experience in multiple project methodologies including, waterfall, agile and hybrid agile.
• Advanced skills with project management tools such as Microsoft project, Jira, Asana, or Trello.
• Advanced skills with collaboration tools such as Salesforce, Microsoft teams, Confluence, SharePoint, Zoom.
