What you’ll do

We are looking for a Senior level tools developer sitting within Oncology Biometrics Programming department. You will be responsible for the development of tools and utilities to be used in the analysis and reporting of clinical trials.

  • Develops and implements cross-project tools within Oncology Biometrics

  • Drives the development of best practices to improve quality, efficiency and/or effectiveness within the function

  • Collaborates with the central Data Automation team and other Therapeutic Area representatives to identify, prioritise and develop tools to increase efficiency within Programming function

  • Identifies opportunities to improve methodology and provides practical solutions for problems

Education, Qualifications, Skills and Experience

Essential for the role:

To succeed in this role, you need to be a hardworking individual with an understanding of technical and regulatory requirements related to programming within the pharmaceutical or healthcare industry. You should have the ability to multitask, collaborate as part of a team that operates globally and have an appetite for solving problems.

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s (or local equivalent) degree in Mathematics, Statistics, Computer Science, Life or Social Sciences or related field

  • Attention to detail and ability to independently work on concurrent projects/activities

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills and ability to influence team members and stakeholders

  • Extensive SAS programming expertise to a high level within clinical drug development, preferably with study reporting experience

  • Knowledge of R and/or Python programming languages is desirable

  • Ability to work independently on the assigned programming tasks

  • Good knowledge of CDISC standards and industry processes

  • Hands on study-level programming experience ideally in Oncology Therapeutic Area
