The Location:
Hexagon is a global company with locations around the world. This position is based in Calgary, AB where we offer hybrid work once training has been completed or it is home-based in Guadalajara, Jalisco, Mexico.

Responsibilities:
Our Supply Chain Analyst is responsible for:
  • Analyze supply chain data to identify trends, patterns, and opportunities for improvement
  • Develop and maintain key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure supply chain performance and track progress towards goals
  • Communicate supply chain performance metrics and insights to key stakeholders
  • Work in collaboration with strategic suppliers to communicate, implement and monitor procurement strategies and programs to achieve on time delivery, inventory optimization and high-quality performance
  • Direct a small portfolio of strategic suppliers that involves processing purchase orders and overseeing escalations
  • Create and implement supply chain optimization strategies to improve efficiency, reduce costs, and increase productivity
  • Monitor inventory levels and collaborate with procurement specialists to provide recommendations to ensure adequate supply while minimizing excess inventory
  • Liaise with cross-functional teams in continuous improvement projects
Qualifications:

Must-Have:

  • +5 years’ related experience in procurement, planning, sourcing of electronics manufacturing, or contract manufacturing
  • Experience and use of ERP/MRP, Kanban, Safety stock, snd visual manufacturing systems
  • Strong analytical skills, business acumen and negotiating skills in dealing with supporting functions (Engineering, Supply Chain, Suppliers and Operations)
  • Proficiency in data analysis and visualization tools such as Excel, Tableau, and Power BI

Nice-to-Have:

  • Bachelor's degree or related education in Business, Supply Chain or Operations
  • Supply Chain Management Professional (SCMP) accreditation or other professional designation
  • Preferred experience in electronics manufacturing supply chain
  • Background in creating and implementing business processes
