Role Summary:

Our Calgary Branch is currently recruiting for a Sales Support Specialist who will be working as part of our team to provide assistance and support to the Sales representatives in their efforts to develop and drive fire alarm preventative maintenance, and contract service sales.


Key Job Responsibilities:

  • Support and assist the Sales Representatives
  • Process system orders secured by the salespeople, and act as a liaison between the customer and the company on telephone requests
  • Provide quotes on fire products to clients.
  • Screen incoming customer requests for technical details, delivery or prices, process routine requests, and refer significant or complex requests to the appropriate salesperson
  • Ensure that orders secured by the salespeople are written and processed while ensuring that technical content and pricing are correct
  • Prepare and process all sales orders, follow up and expedite all deliveries of equipment and drawings
  • Acquire knowledge and keep current in areas of product features, legislation, and regulations concerning product usage, and where possible competitive technology


Qualifications:

  • Grade 12 or equivalent GED
  • Strong knowledge of PC-based applications (Microsoft Office Suite etc.)
  • Proven customer relationship-building skills
  • Relevant sales experience, preferably in the life safety industry
