Job Team Member in Paris
Transcontinental BGI Retail are hiring Team Members to work at the Warehouse.
Responsibilities:
Packing
- Build boxes and crates to protect product to shipping.
- Pack with bubble wrap, poly bags, Styrofoam, banding and have attention to corner protection.
- Collate orders following detailed pick tickets, work orders and packing instructions.
- Operate power tools such as chop saw, pneumatic nail guns and measuring equipment.
Material handling
- Operate reach truck, sit-down fork and forklift with oversized skids and fork extensions.
- Move raw material to and remove finished product from assembly area.
- Transfer material for Operators.
- Take finished crates from assembly area and replace with empty ones.
- Maintain a clean and free of clutter work area.
Requirements:
- Valid Forklift license is required.
- Experience with reach truck, sit-down fork and forklift with oversized skids and fork extensions.
Working Conditions:
- Standing, walking, grasping for 8 hours/day.
- Lifting, carrying, pushing, pulling for 5 hours/day up to 50 lbs.
- Exposure to a humid and noisy environment.
- Repetitive tasks and hand-eye co-ordination.
- Day shift: Monday to Friday, from 7 am to 3:30 pm.
