Job Team Member in Orangeville
Job purpose:
To work in the pizzeria preparing ingredients, prepping dough, making and cutting pizza as well as assisting customers at the front counter with their orders and pickups. Duties and responsibilities As a Pizzeria Crew Member, you could be responsible for any or all duties that are outlined below depending on the shift you are scheduled for.
Regardless of your shift, you will be responsible for;
Maintaining a fast speed of service, especially during rush times
Receiving and/or taking orders from customers; in person, over the phone or through skip the dishes
Inputting customer orders in to Deliver Plus
Calling customers to confirm orders or notify them of any shortages of toppings
Dealing with customer questions and complaints
Maintaining a professional manner at all times
Consistently follow all pizzeria health and safety procedures

Other duties as assigned Opening Shift:
Opening the pizzeria includes but is not limited to; checking to see if it is safe to enter, unlocking the door, disarming alarm system, turning on lights, checking for irregularities or vandalism, cleaning front counter, close debit terminals from previous day, verify cash float and start cash drawer, set up each station – screening, saucing, cheesing, make line, cut table,
Mid-Day Shift:
Mid-day or shift changes include but is not limited to; emptying garbage bins, cleaning up all work stations and floors, verify cash float and open cash drawer, check for any outstanding bills from previous day, check for timed orders, update store messages as required, prepping ingredients, re-stock make line toppings and beverages, complete cleaning schedules as assigned, prep dough for dinner rush
Closing Shift:
closing the pizzeria includes but is not limited to; locking all doors, close out register, deposit money into the safe and complete all cash work sheets, print all required daily reports, close down makeline by rotating toppings and placing lids on each container, clean, sanitize and air-dray all emptied food containers, utensils, dough trays, etc., down-stack all proofed dough balls ensuring they are all covered, set pizzeria alarm and lock up before leaving
Qualifications:
Current student or high school diploma/GED
Excellent customer service skills
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
Strong time management skills
Basic mathematical skills for inventory counting, ingredient measurements, cash outs, etc.
Working conditions:
Expected to work a variety of shifts which will include opens, mid-shifts and closes.
Must be available for weekend shifts
Interact with customers, employees, management and the public at large
Overtime may be required
Manual dexterity required Physical requirements
Capable of lifting 25lbs • Able to work on your feet for long periods of time
