Project Manager
Reporting to the team lead, IT project management, the IT Project Manager is responsible for the management of one or more projects of various size and complexity. This role is responsible for managing all aspects of the analysis, design, development and implementation of the program/project.

Key responsibilities
  • Overall coordination, status reporting and stability of project oriented work efforts;
  • Manages one or more projects of medium complexity to highly complex;
  • Managing project plans and teamwork assignments, directing and monitoring work efforts on a daily basis;
  • Identify resources needs, performing quality review; and escalating functional, quality, timeline issues accordingly;
  • Tracking key project milestones and adjusting project plans and/or resources to meet the needs of the customer;
  • Communicate with all concerned parties in regards to the scope, budget, risk and resources of the work effort being managed;
  • Work closely with higher management on the orientation and the support of the project while providing insight and the resources needed to complete each project goal;
  • Make sure that all aspects (technology and processes) are integrated in the project plans in order to respond to business needs;
  • Establish great business relations with partners and vendors in order to maximize their input for the project and the company;
  • Stay up-to-date of new trends in project management;
  • Work closely with all members of the organization.
EXIGENCES
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Business Administration, or other related field;
  • 3 to 5 years of IT work experience, including a minimum of 2 years in project management. Experience with projects in multiple technologies and functions;
  • PMP Certification desired;
  • Must possess extensive knowledge and expertise in the use of project management methodologies and tools, resource management practices and change management techniques (Waterfall and Agile);
  • French and English (Spoken and written);
  • Outstanding communications skills; able to articulate complex technical topics to nontechnical audiences;
  • Working experience with SDLC and deliverables associated with each phase;
  • Experience in estimating resources and developing delivery plans;
  • Ability to multi‐task and keep all projects on schedule;
  • Experience and interest in the retail industry;
  • Someone who demonstrates initiative with strong negotiation and decision making skills is important for this position;
  • People skills and customer service oriented;
  • Problem solving skills.
